On September 16, 2025, Consul General Guo Shaochun hosted a reception celebrating the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The event drew nearly 200 guests from various sectors of the consular district，including local officials, consular corps in Los Angeles, representatives of Chinese communities, students, and Chinese enterprises.

Consul General Guo highlighted the remarkable achievements made by China over the 76 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Along the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Chinese people have achieved the miracles of fast economic growth and long-term social stability. China remains committed to peaceful development, high quality growth and high level opening-up, and the implementation of four global initiatives. The Consulate General stands ready to work with all friends in the consular district, follow through on the important common understandings reached by the two heads of states, and promote the stable, sound, and sustainable development of China-U.S. relationship.

The guests spoke highly of the extraordinary economic and social achievements of China. They expressed their willingness to continue promoting sub-national cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, and their best wishes for the positive development of China-U.S. relationship.
