On November 6, Consul General Guo Shaochun attended the opening ceremony of the 21st Chinese American Film Festival and the Chinese American TV Festival and Golden Angel Awards ceremony in Los Angeles and delivered a speech.

Consul General Guo Shaochun noted that China and the United States have the world’s most dynamic and closely connected film and television industries. China has sketched out its blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan period and will embrace the world with openness to share opportunities and create a better future together. We welcome global partners — including those from the U.S. — to join in the high-quality growth of China’s film and television industry.Consul General Guo hoped that the film and television communities of both countries will work hand in hand to further promote cultural exchanges and friendship between China and the U.S..

Over 600 outstanding Chinese and American film and television works have been submitted for the Golden Angel Awards this year. During the festival, a series of cultural and tourism activities will be held, including 21st Chinese American Film and Television Summit and Presentation, screenings of award-winning works，Presentation of “A Journey of Peaks and Seas Through the Lens of Guizhou ”and etc.
