On the evening of November 30, the 93rd Hollywood Christmas Parade took place along the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. Consul General Guo Shaochun was invited to attend and watch the event.

Consul General Guo said in an interview that the Hollywood Christmas Parade is one of the most iconic New Year celebrations in the United States, known for its deep historical roots and broad social impact. The Chinese community in Southern California was invited to participate in the event with performances full of Chinese cultural elements, inheriting and developing China's outstanding traditional culture, telling China’s stories well, and presenting a true image of China as a country worthy of friendship, trust and respect. This not only enriched the multicultural atmosphere of the local community, but also played a significant role in promoting cultural exchange between China and the U.S. and fostering mutual understanding between the two peoples.

The Roundtable of Southern California Chinese American Organizations (RCAO) organized a parade contingent of nearly 200 people, showcasing dragon and lion dances, Chinese martial arts, Nezha, traditional ethnic costumes display and 8-meter-tall giant panda balloons as well as face changing, which received rounds of applause from the crowd. The parade sent panda toys to spectators along the street, sparking enthusiastic responses and positive interactions.
