Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassador in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Li Jinjun was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, replacing Liu Hongcai.
