In order to further facilitate people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries, from 00:00 a.m Beijing time on March 15, the latest adjustment on Chinese visa and entry policies takes effect as below:

1. The long term multi-entry visas issued before March 28, 2020 will be re-validated.

2. Foreigners may apply for all types of visas, including those for tourism and medical treatment purposes. Details could be seen on http://losangeles.china-consulate.gov.cn/eng/visa/chinavisa/202206/t20220624_10709221.htm.

3. Port visa authorities will resume the examining and issuing of all types of port visas that meet the statutory reasons. 

4. The Hainan 30-day visa-free policy, 15-day visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong 144-hour visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi 15-day visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries will be re-validated.
